Job Details
Perform detailed geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, slope stability, deep excavation and ground improvement. Integrate geotechnical findings into structural and civil design, including load transfer, settlement prediction and soil – structure interaction. Prepare civil and structural design drawings, calculations and specifications in accordance with local codes. (e.g., Eurocode, BS, SS). Coordinate soil – structure interface designs with structural and civil teams. Review geotechnical investigation (GI) reports and interpret borehole logs and lab test result for use in design. Evaluate contractor proposal for temporary works, earth retaining stabilizing structures (ERSS) and dewatering systems. Ensure all design works meet applicable codes, standards and project specifications. Participate in internal and external design reviews. Contribute to risk assessments and ensure geotechnica
